I use a flatbed heat press machine set at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius and a press time of 25 seconds.
I can't peel off the backing paper completely or only partially after pressing.
Should I peel off the paper immediately after pressing or wait for it to cool down?
Light Color (T-shirt) Heat Transfer Paper Instructions
Product Performance:
This product allows you to print beautiful photos using an inkjet printer and transfer them onto any white or light-colored textile material (including 100% cotton or 50% cotton blend). The transferred image has a clear and vibrant color reproduction, a soft feel, good permeability, and doesn't wrinkle or crack. The image doesn't fade after washing.
Production Process:
1. Print the desired image or photo on the transfer paper using an inkjet printer (mirror the image before printing, set print quality to photo quality/ordinary paper).
2. Cut the printed pattern, leaving a 3 - 5mm border around the edges.
3. Set the temperature of the heat press machine to approximately 180 - 200 degrees Celsius.
4. Place the cut pattern face down on the textile material you want to transfer the image to.
5. Press down the heat press machine and apply pressure for about 20 - 40 seconds (ensure sufficient pressure is applied).
6. Lift the heat press machine and peel off the backing paper (you can peel it off hot or cold).
Dark Color (T-shirt) Heat Transfer Paper Instructions
Product Performance:
This product allows you to transfer fine color patterns onto any black or dark-colored textile material (including 100% cotton or materials containing more than 50% cotton). The transferred image is clear with good color reproduction, doesn't wrinkle or crack, and doesn't fade after washing.
Production Process:
1. Print the desired image or pattern on the transfer paper using the highest print quality setting (do not mirror the image).
2. Cut off the excess part around the edges of the pattern, keeping only the part you want to transfer.
3. Peel off the backing paper from the back side of the pattern, leaving only the soft side with the image.
4. Place the image side face up on the textile material you want to transfer the image to.
5. Place a high-temperature protection sheet on top of the image, covering the entire area.
6. Set the heat press machine temperature to approximately 190 degrees Celsius and press for about 30 seconds. Then, peel off the protection sheet (peel it off while it's still warm).
[Tips]
To prevent the fabric from yellowing, it's best to use a high-temperature protection sheet.
Wait at least 48 hours after printing with regular ink before washing the garment.
If the fabric or transfer paper gets wet and you don't use a high-temperature protection sheet, the printed garment may yellow or stain.
